Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22

December 1977

FROM THE EAST

Brethren,

As I sit down to write this, my last Trestleboard, there are many thoughts and emotions running rampart through the old mind.

I would like to thank all the Brethern for their support through the year, also, the Officers and many of the Committees, who without their cooperation, one could have possibly lost their sanity.

Once again, may we call your attention to a very grave sitution that has arisen in your Lodge. As most of you know, the Williams' Portrait is in dire need of repair. This situation will be presented and discussed at our first Stated Meeting, December 8th. I urge all of you to attend this Communication, as it concerns all of the Members of your Lodge.

We will again journey to Mt. Vernon, December 14th, to participate with Fredericksburg Lodge #4 and Washington Lodge #21 of New York City in a wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of George Washington. Meet in front of Mt. Vernon, the gates will open at 9:00am.

Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Sincerely and fraternally,
John R. Ranck, Sr.

Worshipful Master
