Our schedule for May is somewhat lighter than April. However, in addition to our called communications, our two Stated Communications this month are a MUST. At our first Stated Communication, we will nominate and elect our choice for District Deputy Grand Master for Masonic District 1A for 1979. It is very important that you be present to make your wishes known. At our second Stated Communication, we will hold a Table Lodge in the dining room of the Memorial. The Grand Master of Masons in Virginia will be in attendance at this meeting.
The Grand Lodge Bicentennial Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 27th, at the Memorial. There will be refreshments, entertainment, and a good time for all.
Have you signed up for the baking contests and sporting events scheduled at our Lodge picnic? The picnic will be held this year on Sunday, June 25th, at Fort Hunt Park, Area A. See Brothers Snyder and Freeman, respectively, for registration.
Brethren, as you travel on that broad level of time to that undiscovered country, from whose born no traveller returns, do your actions inspire the admiration and support of those around you for the principles of our Order?
Sincerely and fraternally,
Dennis C. McCraney

Worshipful Master
