Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22

September 1978

FROM THE EAST

Brethren,

September is once again upon us and although we do not have a busy schedule, we have a few memorable events taking place this month.

We will be making our long awaited trip to Liberty Lodge in Beverly, Massachusetts, on September 8, 9, and 10.

On Monday, September 18th, at 7:30 p.m., we will open a Called Communication and then hold an 'open' ceremony for the purpose of presenting Worshipful Brother John S. Biscoe with his 50 year pin. This will be an 'open' ceremony and your family and friends are invited.

At our first Stated Communication on Thursday, September 14th, we will have our usual business meeting and receive those Brethren celebrating their Masonic Birthdays in September. At our second Stated Communication on September 28th, we will have a very short meeting so that our Brethren may attend the Grand Master's visit to Archer Bailey Gay Lodge #275.

Brethren, don't forget the District School on Wednesday, September 27th, at Elmer Timberman Lodge #54. These schools offer an excellent opportunity to broaden your Masonic horizons.

Sincerely and fraternally,
Dennis C. McCraney

Worshipful Master
