As you can see by the schedule for April, we have another busy month upcoming for our Lodge. I hope you will be able to attend some, if not all the scheduled events. At our first stated meeting, Wor. Bro. Howell will present a program to honor our youth. Our second stated will be opened in the Replica Lodge Room, where we will present a 50 year Veterans Emblem. Wor. Bro. Brown will be our speaker when we return to the regular Lodge Room.
The annual Ladies Night of William L. Elkins Lodge No. 646 of Philadelphia, Penn. will be held on Saturday, May 3. The event will be held at Valle's Steak House, 9495 Roosevelt Blvd. Any member desiring to attend should contact me prior to April 13, so that arrangements can be made for tickets and accomodations.
Another future event that is in the planning stage is the visit of Liberty Lodge on May 23, 24 & 25. Wor. Bro. Swiger has agreed to chair the committee handling the arrangements for this visit. Some of the members have been in contact with the ladies and brethren of Liberty Lodge offering to host them during the visit. Any specific, or desired hosting arrangements should be brought to Bro. Swiger's attention to help in the planning.
We have eight members who have not paid their 1978 dues as of this time. Please check your membership card, if it does not read 1979 or later you are delinquent. Please send your check today.
