This December 14th marks the 20th Anniversary of Alexandria-Washington Chapter. International Order of DeMolay. This is a most historic occasion for the members of the Chapter who bears our name. Our Lodge is the Sponsoring Body for this youth organization. Therefore, on Saturday, December 11, 1982, at 5:00 PM, our Lodge will host a Table Chapter for the members of Alexandria-Washington Chapter. All DeMolay Advisors (past and present), are most cordially invited to attend. Please insure that you apprise either the Advisory Council Chairman. Brother Bob Smith (836-9084) or the Chapter Dad. On Tuesday morning, December 14, 1982, our Lodge will make the annual pilgrimage to the Tomb of George Washington at Mount Vernon. At eight-thirty o'clock that morning, we will assemble at the gates of Mount Vernon. At nine o'clock we will go in our automobiles, in procession, to the tomb to perform the Wreath-Laying Ceremony; which is our ancient custom. Immediately following the ceremony, we have been invited to Collingwood Library and Museum on Americanism for coffee and light refreshments. Collingwood is located at the corner of Collingwood Drive and East Boulevard Drive.
The Officers and Members of Bethel No. 4, International Order of Jobs Daughters have extended a very special invitation to each and every member of our Lodge to attend their Semi-Annual Installation of Officers on Saturday, December 18, 1982, at 7:30 PM. This installation will be held in the Alexandria-Washington Lodge Room. The ceremony is an "open" affair which means that our families and friends are also welcome. Please join me as I go to congratulate them on this joyous occasion.

This will be a public ceremony. Therefore, families and friends of the Lodge are most cordially invited to attend. Brother Lawrence M. Callahan, the Senior Warden has arranged for the Kena Shrine Band to perform a musical interlude, for your listening enjoyment, starting at 7:00 PM.
This is the last Trestleboard of this Masonic Year, and I suddenly find there is not enough space to thank each and every person, that worked so hard this year. However, I am extremely grateful to all of the Officers and Members who so generously gave of themselves. Mere words alone, cannot adequately express my gratitude. However, I would be remiss if I did not thank three individuals who worked the very hardest in the quarries of Freemasonry this year. They are my son, Adrian; my daughter, Michele; and my wife, Veronica. And theirs truly was a labor of love!
Sincerely and fraternally,
Leo A. Sentiger, Jr.

Worshipful Master
