We have made the turn to the next quarter of the year and there is still time for you to join with us as we continue to celebrate our 200th year of service. We have kept our promise of short, but interesting meetings; but of course you wouldn't know that if you haven't been around.
It is a pleasure to announce the election of Wor. Bro. Robert Clay Swiger as Treasurer of the Lodge. He is a dedicated Mason and a welcome addition to our corp of officers.
Our Secretary has asked that I notify those of you who have not received your 25 year pin to please contact him so that we may arrange for you to receive it. He also requests that you pay up your dues if you have been putting it off. Thanks.
We are now about to begin the season of visiting lodges. Each of the visiting Worshipful Masters has asked me to invite our members to please join them. This month is a great time to see the degree work of lodges from Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Delaware. These lodges are making the long journey to our city in celebration of OUR 200th anniversary, won't you please make the short journey to welcome them in the true spirit of our fraternity. Along this same line, we will have approximately 30 Brethren from Springfield Ohio visiting with us at our first Stated Communication on the 14th of April when we welcome the District 1A team. I challenge you to FILL the lodge room!!!
Please note that TUESDAY nights have been scheduled for work in the degrees. There seems to be less competition on that night than any of the others. Our first Master Mason of the bicentennial year will be raised on the 19th. The degree work will be done in the Replica Room.
Also, Mr. William Adam, a collateral decendent of our FIRST Worshipful Master, Robert Adam, will be our speaker at the 2nd Stated communication, Virginia Charter Night on the 28th. I have been looking forward to this for a very long time, and Mr. Adam has assured me that his message will clarify some of the little known facts about Wor. Bro. Adam. Now I know that you can fill up the replica room.
Family Night on the 22nd is open to all. Our stewards will serve scrumptious food at 6:30 PM, after which we will go to the lodge room for a slide and film presentation by Rt Wor Werner Morlock on the Secret Service. You will be encouraged to ask questions about the saŁeguarding of the President, Vice President, etc. Worshipful Masters of other lodges are requested to invite their members of the Masonic family to join us.
God Bless You,

L. M. Callahan, W.M.
