To stimulate your interest and participation in lodge programs during the 200th anniversary year, here is the 1983 schedule of events for your advanced planning.
Please, before you tuck it away in a drawer (with every good intention of looking at it later), mark those events which are of particular interest to you in or on your calendar (the one on the refrigerator door will do nicely) so that you won't forget.
During 1983 I will keep our meetings short and interesting. The business of the lodge will normally be conducted during the second stated (fourth Thursday of the month) introductions will be brief in keeping with protocol and good manners.
One grand aim which I have in view is to shake the hand of every Master Mason sometime during the year. If for some physical or geographical reason you cannot meet with us, please drop me a line and I promise to respond. Your attendance and support are encouraged and will be appreciated.
I would sure hate for any of you to look back at the end of the year and regret having missed a SUPER event, or of having not participated in this HISTORICAL Masonic milestone which will not happen for perhaps another 200 years. Resolve NOW to make your mark in history.
A Worshipful Master and the Lodge Officers do the planning; He presides over the Lodge; but in the final analysis, YOU, my brother, will make this an historic year.
God Bless You,

L. M. Callahan, W.M.
