Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22

March 1985

FROM THE EAST

Brethren,

Time has moved swiftly these first two months. Our Lodge has been busy. Participation at Lodge meetings and activities has been good, but I still need to see more of you on your Masonic birthdays. Also, we are still looking to fill a couple oY important jobs; the Assistant Secretary and Chapter Dad. If you want to volunteer, please contact me or Worshipful Brother Cumbee.

Our first stated on the 14th will be for Masonic birthdays--not only March's but also for January and February in case you could not make it out earlier in the year. Further, this will be Past Master's Night and our special speaker will be Congressman and Brother Eldon Rudd. Past Masters, our 50 plus year brethren, Lodge committeemen, and officers will have dinner prior to lodge at 6:45 p.m. Please notify the Acting Secretary if you plan to attend the dinner.

On the 28th we will have the official visit of our District Deputy Grand Master for Masonic District 1A, Right Worshipful David H. Blank. Please attend and show your support for this fine brother. Also, during this meeting we will consider the resolution on membership of the Archives Committee.

Andrew Jackson Lodge No. 120 and our Lodge have tried not to schedule degree work on each others stated meetings so that you could attend both meetings. Worshipful Brother Hayes and I would appreciate being able to have official visits at every meeting. Remember, AJ #120 has their namesake celebration this month.

With best wishes, I am

Fraternally,

John M. Nicholson, Jr.
Worshipful Master

Alexandria-Washington DeMolay Chapter meets at 5:00 p.m. each second and fourth Saturday at GWMNM. Please show your support.
