We are traveling to Elkins Lodge #646 on April 27, 1985 for our annual visit. If you desire to go to Philadelphia with us on this occasion please call Worshipful John Ranck on his home phone 660-6275. To confirm our reservations we need to know if you plan to attend before Monday, April 15, 1985. Also, we are planning a trip to the Masonic Home on May 18, 1985, to dedicate the room donated by the brethren of our lodge. If you wish to visit the home with us, please give me or Worshipful Archie Lyon a call.
Our first stated on April 11th will be Youth Night. We will celebrate our Masonic birthdays and then have the Alexandria Washington Chapter Order of DeMolay Awards Program. This will be a family night. So, bring your wives, friends, and any young people who might be interested or need our youth groups. Further, AW Chapter will have an installation of officers on Saturday, April 13, 1985. Show your Masonic support and attend these two functions.
On the 25th we will celebrate our Charter Night by opening lodge in the Replica Room. Worshipful Ryon Pugh will present the facts and fables of the "Washington Jewel." Like our current PM jewels, this jewel also can cause lively discussion. At this meeting we will hold an election for the DDGM nomination.
A comment about a change in plans. The picnic is now a firm date for Sunday, June 2, 1985. Please put this change on your calendar and inform your ladies.
