Some of the lodge's officers and members will be attending the Southwest Masonic School at VPI from Sunday, August l1th through Wednesday, August 14th. If you wish to attend with us, please contact Worshipful Jim Stone or myself very soon.
Our first stated on August 8th will feature our lodge educational officer, Brother David Keckler as the speaker. Why not lend us your attentive ear? Also, we will be celebrating masonic birthdays at this meeting. On August 22nd, our second stated, we will have the official visits of Worshipful Harry Grant Lutz, District Instructor of Work, and Worshipful Dennis Lee School, District Education Officer. Further, since Brother Thomas Sjoblom has decided to resign his office, we will have election and installation of officers at this meeting.
Coming up in September, the lodge will have two special stated meetings. On the first stated, September 12th, the lodge will honor area Chaplains with Right Worshipful Charles Armistead Sinclair as speaker. The second stated, September 26, will be brotherhood night. At this meeting all 25 year brethren will receive their AW 22 service pins and Worshipful Harold Cumbee will be honored. For this meeting, you are to bring a brother with you! So call a brother, make arrangements, and attend the second stated of September.
