Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22

November 1985

FROM THE EAST

Brethren,

In November we have some business to take care of to close the lodge for the year. I will need brothers to help take various inventories and serve on the audit committee. Also, in November we want to visit Fredicksburg No. 4 and make an official visit to Andrew Jackson No. 120 on Thursday, November 21, 1985. So, if you have been unable to do anything all year you might want to call me or one of the other officers and get involved now. It has been a great year so why not come and enjoy the rest of the year with your brethren.

For our one stated meeting on November 14th we will have memorial program with RW Albert Brown Bailey, PDDGM, as our speaker. Further, we will honor Worshipful Clyde C. Lamond, Jr., a past master for 50 years, by having him preside in the East. Also, the November birthday brethren will be presented their gifts at this meeting. Because of Thanksgiving we have only one stated meeting. So, from all of the officers may you and your families have a nice Thanksgiving.

In December we will have stated meetings on December 12th for the annual reports and on December 19th for the election of officers. On December 26th there will be a practice for and on December 27th there will be an open installation of officers. Also, on December 14th we will have a wreath laying ceremony at Mt. Vernon in the morning at 9:00 a.m. That afternoon at 2:00 pm we will have a Christmas party in the auditorium of the GWMNM.

With best wishes, I am

Fraternally,

John M. Nicholson, Jr.
Worshipful Master
