How imperceptibly the grains of sand flow through the hour glass and how swiftly this year has past. It seems only a short while since I was elected and installed and now I want to thank each and everyone of you who made this year--1985--happen. It has been wonderful.
I have had a fine group of officers without whom I could not have served. Also, there have been many dedicated brethren, who performed tasks all year that made my job easier. So, to all my brethren, it has been a good year, thanks for the memories. There are also others that have made this year special, so with all my love, I wish to thank my wife, Joy, and my family.
For our stated meeting on December 12th we will have the annual reports and on December 19th the election of officers. Remember, on the first stated of the month, we celebrate Masonic birthdays. Also, for those Brothers who missed their birthdays this year, come to Lodge and receive your gift on December 12, 1985.
On December 14th we will have our annual wreath laying at Mt. Vernon at 9 a.m. followed by some light refreshments at Collingwood. On December 14th at 2 p.m. we will have a Christmas party with AJ #120 in the GWMNM. please bring your children, grandchildren, and friends and relatives. Lastly, on December 27th at 7:30 p.m., we will have an open installation of the officers for 1986. Support your new officers by attending this function.
