We are most fortunate in having the heads of two of our appendant bodies address our lodge this month. Richard B. Baldwin, Right Eminent Grand Commander of Knights Templar of Virginia will be with us on the first Stated Communication and Illustrious David Kruger, SGIG for the Orient of Virginia on the second. Let us all turn out in force and welcome them accordingly.
Brother Michael J. Mclaughin, jr. was elected to the Trustees to fill the term of Wor. Brother Ed Gondella expiring in 1991.
Please note the degree work and Ritual Schools to be conducted this month and make every effort to attend.

August 23, 1789 - A stern rebuke was given Robert A..... Esq. for indulging in too much "Social Mirth." On that evening he came to lodge expecting to be advanced to the degree of Fellow Craft. But, before coming, had fortified himself too liberally with refreshments. The record shows besides a stern rebuke which would take too much space, he was finally, after an apology to the Lodge, required to show himself entitled to further advancement by his future conduct.
