Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22
July 1990
FROM THE EAST
The resolution on the increase in dues from $19.00 to $25.00
annually which was proposed at our Stated Communication on May
10th was discussed at our Stated Communication on June 14th, but,
was laid over for action until July 12th to allow time for our Treasurer
to present detailed accounting figures to the Lodge to support the
increase need.
The resolution change as shown on the insert page of this
trestleboard was proposed at our Stated Communication on June
14th and will come up for action at our Stated Communication on July
12th.
We have had our first meeting on the Beverly Mass trip. There
are still seats available on the bus; don't miss this opportunity to visit
our Brothers in Beverly.
At the first stated meeting this month we will have a patriotic
program, "Unsung Heroes," put on by John MacEntire and Walter
Scott Downs. This will be a performance you should not miss.
We will travel to Blacksburg, Virginia on July 22nd to attend the
annual Southwest Masonic School located at the VPI Campus - return
on the 25th.
At the second stated meeting we will recognize another
outstanding member of our Lodge - come and help us celebrate this
affair.
Sincerely and Fraternally,

Wardell H. Thomas
Worshipful Master
