On the 9th, we will have a short Stated Business Meeting, then close to join our families in the dinning room to enjoy Watermelon and Ice Cream. Officers and members can dress casual.
On the 12th, at 4:00 PM, I would like to have all the members going to Beverly, Massachusetts in September meet again in the Lodge room for a short coordination meeting. At this time we need to have a complete list of every one going so we can forward the information to the Master in Beverly. We also need to have all payments in full at this time. It looks like we will have a full bus.
On the 25th, the annual Blue Lodge visitation to the Scottish Rite Temple will occur. Herndon Lodge No. 264 is the host Lodge. While I only have a limited number of tickets for attendance at the dinner, all Master Masons are invited to attend the degree conferral which starts at 7:00 PM. I hope to see you there.
We are fortunate to have quite a few men interested in becoming members of our lodge. This results in a high demand for catechism coaches. Please contact Brother Bill Mitchell or myself so you can be assigned a candidate to coach. Remember, when you are helping to coach a new member, you are repaying some of the help that was given to you in your time of need.
When you become aware of a Brother's sickness or death, please contact me or an officer of the Lodge as soon as possible to report it. It would also be good if you could attend the Lodge and report the facts first hand and at the same time share in good fellowship with the other brethren in attendance.
