On the 3rd, we will celebrate Labor Day by working in the Master Mason Degree. Come be with us and show your support for the candidate.
Our trip to Beverly will begin 7:00 am on Friday the 14th. We should arrive at the Lodge in Beverly around 5:00 pm when we will be met by our hosts. We should arrive back here at the Temple around 6:00 pm on Sunday the 16th.
Warden's Night will be held on the 27th. Please come an give your support to Earl and Jack for all they have done for the Lodge. Don't miss this opportunity to hear an inspiring message from Rt Wor Charles A. Sinclair, Jr., Grand Lecturer, Emeritus, Grand Lodge of Virginia, who will be the guest speaker for the evening.
On Saturday, October 20th, the Valley of Alexandria Scottish Rite will conduct the 1990 Fall Reunion class in honor of a past member of our Lodge, Brother Charles L. Eisenman, 33°. This class will be a one (1) day class and will be an excellent opportunity to become a Scottish Rite Mason in a one day session. The deadline for the submission of petitions is Friday, September 14th. If you would like more information, or need assistance with a petition, see any of the Officers of the Lodge who will be pleased to assist you.
Brethren, we still need help with coaching. If you have any catechism coaching ability, please contact Brother Bill Mitchell or myself so you can be assigned a candidate to coach. We now have eleven (11) Brethren working on their catechism, and will initiate two more members on the 10th. With your help, we can get these Brethren through the degrees in due time and continue to strengthen the Lodge membership.
