At our first stated meeting on the 8th, we will recognize the Knights Templar. Our keynote speaker will be Sir Knight Robert David McMarlin, Past Grand Commander of Knights Templar in Virginia.
Our second stated, on the 22nd, will be Family Night. Therefore, bring the family. We will open lodge and conduct a short business meeting to take care of necessary items, then close the lodge by 8:00 o'clock pm. After the lodge is closed we will bring family members and friends into the lodge room to hear a presentation by Dr. F. J. Pepper, who is a member of the Virginia Board of Medicine. Afterwards, we will have introductions, where members will introduce their families and guests. I will then recognize the birthday brethren.
Blue Lodge visitation night will be held at the Alexandria Scottish Rite Temple on Saturday the 24th. Even if you did not get a ticket for the dinner, you can still attend the degree work which will begin at 7:00 o'clock pm. It is always a thrill to see a brother raised to Master Mason by a full cast in period costume.
