We have only one stated meeting this month, so you November birthday brethren come on the 14th to receive your birthday gift. It is Civic Recognition Night and we will be honored to hear a message from Mrs. Del Pepper, Councilwoman on the Alexandria City Council. Please come out and show your support for Mrs. Pepper who has worked extremely hard for our interest on the City Council.
On the 4th, we will make an official visit to Fredericksburg Lodge #4. Our Grand Master, Most Worshipful William Franklin Purdue, will also make his official visit on this date to honor the 239th anniversary of the initiation into freemasonry of our Illustrious Brother George Washington. We will also present the Grand Master with his portrait that was taken on February 22nd, when he made his official visit to our Lodge.
We will also make an official visit to Glebe Lodge #181 on the 25th at which time MW Bro. Don Robey will present the program. Glebe Lodge meets in the Arlington Masonic Temple located on S. George Mason Drive at Arlington Boulevard (Route #50).
My thanks to all of you who have expressed sympathy in my time of family crisis. Your thoughts and prayers are truly comforting.
