My Brethren:
I would like to thank all of the officers, members and the many participants that assisted in the events of February. Without all of your help, we could not have accomplished our successful goals. Again, thank you very much for the hard work!
At our first stated meeting in March, the District Deputy Grand Master will make his official visit. Please attend, as we officially receive Rt. Wor. Swiger in his mother lodge. On March 17, the officers will visit Seat Pleasant Lodge No. 218 in District Heights, Maryland. The Worshipful Master has requested that our officers assume the stations and places of their lodge so they can witness the Virginia closing. We will leave the Memorial at 6:30 pm.
On March 20, the Area Leadership Conference will take place at the Scottish Rite Temple. All officers elected and appointed are required to attend to qualify the lodge for the James Noah Hillman Award this year. At 5:30pm that afternoon, Andrew Jackson Lodge will celebrate their namesake and receive the Grand Master. Tickets are required for dinner. Ladies and friends are invited.
At our second stated this month we will have Archives Night and display a number of items not usually seen by our members. Wor. Harold Cumbee will assist as we witness some old film clips of the lodge members participating in events throughout years past. Bro. Peak our District Blood Coordinator will also make a short presentation.
Sincerely and fraternally,
Claude H. Harris, Jr.
Worshipful Master
