On behalf of the officers and myself I would like to thank the lodge for the honor of allowing us to serve the lodge for the ensuing Masonic year. I would also like to thank the Installation Officers, National Sojourners, Heroes of 76, members of Bethel No. 22, International Order of Job's Daughters, members of Alexandria-Washington Chapter, Order of DeMolay and the many members of the lodge for their help and advice in making our installation a success.
On January 12th we will hold our first stated communication for 1995. We will open the Lodge of Sorrow, announce the appointments to the various committees and celebrate Masonic birthdays. On January 26th we will be honored to have Rt. Wor. Walter S. Downs as guest speaker.
The Lodge encourages members to learn as much as possible about Masonry. Many books and magazines are available in the Lodge library and in the separate library of the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. Feel free to ask the Master or the Lodge Education Officer (Bro. Paul M. Bessel) for help in finding anything that will be of interest to you.
Once again my Brethren I want to thank you for affording me this great honor and privilege. I assure you I will do my utmost to serve this lodge and Freemasonry with honesty and integrity.
