Masonry is a search for light and enlightenment, a search for knowledge and understanding, of ourselves, of others and of Deity. To assist the Brethren in this quest, we have established a Lodge Education School/Lodge Study Group under the direction of the LEO, Brother Paul M. Bessell. The Study Group is open to all Lodge members and, will meet each Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Lodge Office. Entered Apprentices and Fellow Crafts are strongly urged to attend. Also, all EAs and FCs are to contact the LEO for clarification of the requirements prior to being passed or raised. My Brethren, please take advantage of this Study Group as it will provide an excellent opportunity for instruction, discussion and fellowship.
Our guest speaker for the first Stated meeting this month will be Rt. Wor. William Adrian Brown, PDDGM, who will present an informative talk on Brother George Washington. Rt. Wor. Robert L. Crabill, DDGM, will make his official visit to Kemper Lodge #64 on February 24, 1995. The Lodge will also make an official visit that evening. Please come and support our DDGM and the Lodge. We will not hold a Stated meeting on February 23, 1995.
This month we celebrate the birth of our Charter Master and the First President of our nation, Brother George Washington. The celebration will be held Saturday, February 25, 1995. We will open Lodge at 4:30 p.m., conduct Lodge business and receive the Grand Master upon his arrival that afternoon. Please bring your family and friends to join us in this celebration.
Sincerely and Fraternally,

George D. Seghers
Worshipful Master

"Whosoever from love of knowledge, interest or curiosity, desires to be a Mason, is to know, that as his foundation and great cornerstone, he is to believe firmly in the Eternal God, and to pay that worship which is due to Him as the Great Architect and Governor of the Universe." *
