Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22

February 1996

Master's Message

My Brethren:

The month of February has typically been a very busy month for our Lodge, and this year is no exception. We have many activities planned including the 194th George Washington Birthday Celebration. It promises to be quite an occasion with 37 Grand Lodges and States being represented. Do not miss out on this special event; call or see me to reserve your tickets as soon as possible. Tickets are selling fast and space is limited for the dinner. Do try and make time in your schedule to come out and support your Lodge and enjoy participating in these events and programs.

At our first Stated Communication, Most Wor. Bro. Steward W. Miner will be our guest speaker on the scheduled topic of Grammar. The second Stated Communication falls on our Illustrious Brother George Washington's birthday, and Rt. Wor. Bro. John P. Riddell will be our guest speaker on the scheduled topic of Rhetoric.

You will find enclosed with this month's Lodge Bulletin a flyer regarding a Masonic Music Concert to be held on April 28, 1996. If you have any questions or wish to reserve your tickets, please feel free to contact me.

NOTIFICATION: We will be considering the nominations for recommendation for appointment to the office of District Deputy Grand Master and an alternate at our March 14 Stated Communication.
