Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22

March 1996

Master's Message

My Brethren:

Your Lodge is in need of your support. There are many ways you can help and support your Lodge. I will be sending you information on how you can help make a difference very soon. Please take the time to review the information when you receive it!

At our first Stated Communication, Worshipful Brother Kirk MacNulty will be our guest speaker on the scheduled topic of Logic as we continue with the Master's Plan. Brother Samir Younes will be our guest speaker at our second Stated Communication on the scheduled topic of Arithmetic. Both programs are integral parts of the Seven Liberal Arts and Sciences to which we are encouraged to study and inculcate in our daily lives. Make time in your schedule to see and participate in these programs that you may be the better enabled to build a better Temple within.

You will find enclosed with this month's Lodge Bulletin a flyer regarding a Masonic Music Concert to be held on April 28, 1996. It will be the cultural highlight of the year and one you will not want to miss. If you have any questions or wish to purchase your tickets, please feel free to contact me. Your cheque is your reservation.

ANNOUNCEMENT: We will be having a Picnic-Reunion this year on August 10 at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. To my knowledge, this is the first attempt to bring all the members of The Alexandria-Washington Lodge, sister Lodges, Masonic bodies that meet in the Memorial, and the Memorial Association together for a "Masonic Family Reunion". More information is forthcoming.

NOTIFICATION: We will be considering the nominations for recommendation for appointment to the office of District Deputy Grand Master and an alternate at our March 28 Stated Communication.

IN MEMORIUM:
Benjamin Franklin Baggett
1907 - 1996

May he rest in peace.

Sincerely and fraternally,

Mark W. Underwood
Worshipful Master
