My Brethren:
This month our Lodge along with Potomac Lodge No. 5 and Samuel Gompers-Benjamin Franklin Lodge No. 45 will be hosting a Masonic Music Concert with a reception following. Our Lodges from two Grand Jurisdictions will be presenting this cultural event for the purpose of raising money for the George Washington Masonic National Memorial and the Masonic Charities Fund, while providing for the enjoyment of the Brethren and their loved ones. The Grand Masters of Virginia and the District of Columbia are scheduled to attend. Please make plans to do likewise! (Refer to the enclosed flyer for more information.)
At our first Stated Communication, Brother S. Brent Morris, a noted Masonic author, will be our guest speaker on the scheduled topic of Geometry. Brother Jerome Barry, a noted baritone, will be our guest speaker at the second Stated Communication on the scheduled topic of Music. Both programs promise to be informative and interesting for the accomplished scholar and mason to dilate upon. Take time out of your schedule that you may improve in Masonic knowledge, to see these programs, and to converse with your lodge brethren, who will be always as ready to give, as you will be to receive instruction. Hope to see you there!
ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting in April, we will provide catechism instruction on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. in the Alexandria-Washington Lodge Room.
NOTIFICATION: With the resignation of our Senior Deacon, Bro. Thomas G. Little, we will be holding an election at our April 11 Stated Communication.

STATED COMMUNICATIONS - Held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month except Thanksgiving; the observance of George Washington's birthday; and the Installation of Officers on Saint John's Day, December 27.
CALLED COMMUNICATIONS - first Monday of each month (Work and Instruction on the first degree of Masonry); second Monday of each month (Work and Instruction on the Second Degree of Masonry); third Monday of each month (Work and Instruction on the Third Degree of Masonry). LODGE RITUAL SCHOOL - Conducted every Sunday at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted in the Trestleboard. All members of Alexandria-Washington Lodge and the Masonic Community are encouraged to attend.
YOUTH MEETINGS AT GWMNM - Alexandria-Washington Chapter, Order of DeMolay meets the first and third Monday at 7 p.m. in the North Lodge Room; Bethel No. 22, I.O.J.D. meets the first and third Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the North Lodge Room.
