My Brethren:
Our annual Lodge Picnic will be held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on August 10 at the George Washington Masonic National Memorial. We will have a Lodge meeting preceding the picnic at 11:00 a.m. in order to receive our visiting Brethren of Liberty Lodge from Beverly, Massachusetts. Dress for the Lodge meeting will be casual! This will be a unique and fun filled day as we welcome our friends and Brethren from our sister lodges near and afar.
At our first Stated Communication under the Master Plan topic of Brotherly Love, we will have various Heads of Appendant Bodies discussing their fraternal part to our Masonic family. This promises to be both an entertaining and educational evening.
Our Lodge Educational Officer, Right Worshipful William A. Brown, PDDGM, will be the guest speaker at the second Stated Communication. He will be speaking on the scheduled topic of Knowledge. Make plans to attend this and the other programs and events in order to support your lodge and improve yourself in Masonry!
ANNOUNCEMENT: We desperately need Catechism Instructors and member participation in the degree work! We currently have 22 candidates on roll!
Sincerely and fraternally,
Mark W. Underwood
Worshipful Master
