At our first Stated Communication of the month, we will have Right Worshipful Thomas Blizzard, Past Grand Provost of the Grand Lodge of Virginia, as our speaker. He will be discussing the great importance of Masonic Education, which is in keeping with this year's theme, "Plus Lux in Masonicum", or "More Light in Masonry".
The second Stated Communication will be our annual Charter Night, with Right Worshipful Jack Riddell as our speaker. We will open the Lodge at 7:30 PM in the Replica Lodge Room. After a short duration, we will call off and resume labor in the main Lodge room. In the past few years, we've held entire meetings in the Replica Room. I feel, due to the age and fragility of the chairs and the limited space available, it would be more beneficial to all concerned that we have the majority of our meeting in the main Lodge room.
I encourage all brethren to attend if within the length of your cabletow.
NOTIFICATION: Skidmore Daylight Lodge No. 237 has officially announced their selections for next year's District Deputy Grand Master and alternate for Masonic District 1A. Our Lodge's verification of these selections will occur at our first April Stated Communication on Thursday, April 10.
ANNOUNCEMENT: I will be finalizing the list of brethren and ladies who plan on attending this year's Grand Annual Communication between November 5 and 8. All those interested in going to Grand Lodge (other than those I have already talked to) MUST let me know by the second Stated Communication at the end of the month (April 24). I will be sending the list to the appropriate agents very shortly thereafter. Due to the new system that Grand Lodge has established for this event, we will be LOCKED IN to the number of reservations based on the list of names that I provide to them. There will be no further reservations taken after April 24.
Sincerely and fraternally,

James M. Stevenson
Worshipful Master
